RINJANI MOUNTAIN

We just return from a 3 days trek across Rinjani,what an adventure it has been! we stay at Senaru village the night before which is beautiful,right close the waterfall when we visit the before the trek start.the guest house was really nice & the food good too. so the first day we begin the trek from Sembalun village,the walk up was a challenge especially near the top,but when we reached the first camp it was absolutely breathtaking. The camp was perfect & the guide/porters look after us well, The food was nice & lots of it too!. The trek to the summit began at 2.30/3 am,this is the most challenging so I recomend good walking shoes & warm cloths! (sleeping at night is cold too) I can honestly say it was the best achievement of my life reaching the top!! it felt so liberating to have pushed through he pain to get there! AND WHAT A VIEW!!!. Than later on that day we made our way down to the beautiful lake for lunch,we bathed in the hot spring which revitaysed us,ready for the climb up to camp2,when we get there we sat & watched the sunset & enjoyed the atmosphere, I WOULD SAY THAT THE SERVICE THROUGHOUT WAS BRILLIANT!, we couldn't ask for the better guide & porters. well worth every penny & more!.... GILI NANGGU TRIP

Hello , Abeng Do you remenber our "french" promise :to send you pictures of our 3 Gilli trip ? Eddy must give me the e-mail of Yunas who has a mini-market , I promised him to send children's photos .Thanks to send me it.Don't forget! We enjoyed to Kuta but the hotel became old !No hot water , no free tea or coffee , but swimming-pool very pleasant ! We wish you a good time and ....will see you the next year. Nicole and Guy
